Ian Johnson files initial NFL paperwork
Boise State running back Ian Johnson says he has taken the initial step toward entering next year's NFL draft.
Ian Johnson says he has filed paperwork with the NFL College Advisory Committee, typically considered a precursor for underclassmen to declare draft eligibility.
Still, the junior who led the Broncos in rushing the past two seasons says it's a long-shot he'll leave Boise State early.

Ian Johnson rushed for 1,030 yards and 16 touchdowns in 10 games this season. A year ago he rushed for 1,713 yards and an NCAA-best 25 touchdowns.
