Bronco Nominated for 3 ESPN Espy Awards
Boise, Idaho-- You just can't stop 'em. The Boise State Broncos have been nominated for three ESPN Espy awards.
The categories they're competing in include "Best Game" for the team's win at the Fiesta Bowl.
Plus - "Best Play" and "Best Finish" for Ian Johnson's two-point conversion that won the Broncos the championship.
This is the first time BSU has ever been nominated for an Espy, and it once again puts the school on a national stage.
"Oh it's great news for the foot ball team, the athletic department and the university. It's just a lot of positive recognition of a job well done and what the football team did last year winning the Fiesta Bowl," said Max Corbet, who handles Bronco media relations.
Jared Zabranski, Coach Pete and Ian Johnson will travel to Hollywood's Kodak Theater for the awards ceremony on July 11th.
The show will be broadcast on ESPN on July 15th at 7:00 p.m.
